There are several dental products out on the market today and it can be difficult knowing where to start. Our staff is going to help you get started with helping you know what toothpaste is going to be best for your teeth now and in the future.
When you notice how many different kinds of toothpaste are on the market today, the task seems daunting. But one thing to keep in mind is not all teeth are the same, so it’s always a good idea to give your dentist a call before you hit the store to ask what product they recommend for your teeth.
Whether you are able to speak with your dentist or not, one tip of ours would be to look for the ADA (American Dental Association) Seal of Acceptance. This means that the toothpaste has met the criteria for safety and effectiveness. Remember, that even though the ADA approves of the toothpaste, it doesn’t evaluate or endorse the performance.
When you are at the store, always choose toothpaste that contains fluoride. Fluoride is essential for preventing cavities. Other than that, it’s up to you! Toothpaste comes in a wide variety of colors and flavors. If the toothpaste you choose starts to bother you or begins to make your teeth sensitive, try another product.
