Meet the Dental Team – Fuquay-Varina, NC

Lindsey,
Office Manager

Lindsey is a new addition to our team, but she’s already proven herself an expert office manager. After all, she’s worked as one for nearly twenty years! On the other hand, her dental background includes training in CPR, SPEAR, and OSHA. Consequently, she’s well-equipped to build healthy, lifelong relationships with her team members and patients.

While born in New York, Lindsey considers North Carolina her true home. She spends much of her downtime with her husband and four kids. Along with them, her interests include the outdoors, four-wheeling, and boating on the weekends. Don’t be fooled, though – Lindsey is a bit of an introvert!

Allison,
Front Desk

Allison joined us in 2009. She says that the team feels like a family, and she also loves getting to know our patients and building relationships with them. She always puts our patients first and goes above and beyond to help them feel comfortable throughout each step of the dental experience. In addition to being exceedingly friendly, she has also completed advanced training through Spear Education about maximizing our patients’ insurance benefits.
Allison was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC and regularly returns to visit her parents, brother and sister-in-law, and 2 handsome nephews. She says that she is a total foodie who loves trying new cuisines, and her biggest passion outside of dentistry is to support the foster care of kittens in need until they’re able to find their forever homes.

Cissy,
Front Desk

As our office’s most front-facing employee, Cissy is a stellar worker. Her education with Miller-Motte College and the Wake Technical Community College, especially, gave her a diverse skill set to rely on. Consequently, she’s joyfully able to help patients and team members as needed!

A Fuquay-Varina native, Cissy has plenty to do in her free time. Her hobbies include photography, graphic design, reading, and physical fitness. Otherwise, she devotes herself to her young, preschool-aged son. That’s only natural – she loves being a mom and watching her precious little boy grow up!

Amber,
Dental Assistant

Amber has been a part of Langworthy Family Dentistry since April of 2019. She deeply enjoys working with our awesome team and getting to know all of our amazing patients. She lived in Fuquay-Varina for 24 years, but recently moved to Dunn, NC when she married her husband, Seth, in September of 2019. They have a sweet baby boy named Sawyer who turned 1 in March 2021. When not at work, Amber likes going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.

Wendy,
Dental Assistant

Wendy is a 27-year dental veteran! She is a graduate of Palm Beach State College and is certified in extended duties in dental assisting, nitrous oxide, coronal polishing, and X-rays. She loves working with a team that has been together for so long that it feels like family, and she hopes our patients feel at home with us as well. Every day, she brings a positive attitude to our dental office and makes sure that our patients are comfortable and happy with their care.
Wendy married in 2014 and has two stepsons as well as an adorable grandson. Outside of the dental office, she likes to travel, watch football, play with her grandson, hang out at the beach, and go to dinner with friends.

Ashley,
Dental Assistant

With nearly two decades of experience under her belt, Ashley joined our team in 2022. Prior to that, she studied at Wake AHEC and earned her certifications in nitrous oxide, coronal polishing, OSHA, and CPR/BLS. As for her favorite part of her job, it’s the wonderful staff!

At home, Ashley has three beautiful children. When she isn’t spending time with family, you’ll most likely find her working as a hairstylist and helping with her home church. Here’s a fun fact about her: she loves to ride four-wheelers and get muddy!

Mary,
Dental Hygienist

Mary was born and raised in the Cary area and moved to Fuquay-Varina in 2017 with her husband, Clint. She graduated from Appalachian State with a Bachelor of Psychology with a minor in Child Development. After taking a year off from school, she decided to go back for dental hygiene and graduated from Central Carolina Community College. She loves getting to meet new patients and not only educate them about their oral health, but also form long-lasting relationships with them.

Outside of work, she spends most of her time with family and friends, especially her niece and nephew that live here in Fuquay-Varina. She and her husband also love trying new restaurants, getting outdoors as much as possible, and relaxing with their 2 dogs and cat.

Betsy,
Dental Hygienist

Betsy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia in 1998 and moved to Fuquay-Varina in 2012. She joined our dental office in 2013, has 23 years of dental experience. She loves getting to know our patients and helping them achieve their optimal oral health.

When she’s at home, Betsy is usually busy with her husband and two daughters and all of their activities, which include flying, volleyball, and cheer/tumble. She is active in her church, enjoys volunteering, and likes to spend her free time going to the beach, shopping, or cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs! Speaking of dogs, she has three Boykin Spaniels and a cat that keep her busy, too!

Courtney,
Dental Hygienist

Courtney joined our dental office in January 2021 and says that the best part of her job is getting to know so many people in the community while brightening their smiles. She attended Savannah Technical College for her dental education and is originally from Middleton, NY.

Courtney and her husband have been married for seven years, and they never have a dull moment at home thanks to their 2 beautiful little girls and spunky Goldendoodle. When she isn’t taking care of the kids or relaxing with her husband, she likes to travel and tackle home renovations.
